The Highway Safety Coordinator for Fond du Lac County says you see a lot of strange things as your driving on a highway during a snowstorm, but one of the most dangerous is the traveling igloo. Sheriff Captain Ryan Waldschmidt says it dangerous to leave snow and ice on your vehicle windshield and clear just enough to be able to see out of a small space. He says some people scrape off a small square area and hope the heat from their defrosters will do the rest.

Police says the stop was conducted in the area of North Seymour and Thomas Streets after a police officer witnessed suspicious activity and learned the owner of the vehicle had a revoked driver license. A K9 unit was called to assist and the dog indicated the possible presence of drugs in the car.
