“It not the same certainly as it was in the late with the growth of the giant boards, this particular board of education now covers from virtually the Manitoba boarder to Upsula and schools as far north as Pickle Lake, that huge, that a bigger area than some provinces. Certainly it goes beyond what is happening in your neighbourhood school, you have to be thinking system wide, you got to be thinking right across the entire district, so I see the trustees now as being people who just need to keep an eye on administration, keep an eye on policies, keep an eye on changing directions that come down from the Province. There times that the province decides to do things that very well may work in Toronto, but when you come up here perhaps aren viable or perhaps being well intentioned just don work in small centers, and I think the role of the trustee is now to watch what coming out of the Ministry of Education, what coming out of Queen Park and make sure its viable and doable in our area..
De La Hoya’s incredible 12th round salvo, in which he not only secured his greatness in the boxing community but nearly killed Quartey in the process, was a beautiful thing to watch. However, the fact is I thought he was losing at that point. Give him all the credit in the world for coming through when he needed to (though, according to the weak judges, he didn’t need to), but he very nearly lost the fight.
It this way. Who seriously talks that much? said Innis, after her elimination. Talk a lot, but that was me on steroids, and then some. Yet, procrastination is not always bad. I hear people say, “finish what you start” or “you had that idea, where did you go with it?” Every day I wake up with new ideas, but like you I have only 16 waking hours a day in which to do it all. Misplaced stubbornness, as in, “I started it, I have to finish it,” can exhaust you as you plow onward in the wrong direction.
Channel, blue and flathead catfish good on crawfish, worms, stinkbait and live bait at 20 25 ft. Along the river channel, river mouth and riprap. White bass slow on slabs at 30 35 ft. Nellie was fun loving and had a sense of humour that would sneak up on you. She loved to dance, and was particularly fond of Engelbert Humperdinck. Our whole family attended one of his concerts; we watched Dad smiling as he watched Mom watching “Engee”, totally enthralled.
Quite often as he was driving around a neighborhood and saw a dog dozing on the lawn or front porch he would rescue the dog, wait several days, then drive through the neighborhood again looking for missing dog posters. If he didn find one he would drop off the dog where he found it. He did have a few scrupples.
